Leanne Thiessen is the illustrator and owner of Paper Canoe. Her passion for art stems from a very young age, a childhood filled with camping, canoeing, loving and respecting the outdoors – where she draws much of her inspiration from. A mother of four children, her illustrations are often created with Littles running around or drawing right beside her. Her illustrations aim to amplify the beauty in things with simplicity, and often have a nostalgic, modern edge.
