WHAT'S BEYOND BEEF? Beyond Beef is a plant based ground meat made without any GMOs, soy or gluten to deliver on the versatality, meaty texture, and juciness of ground beef. Its ready to use in your favorite receipes.
HOW IT'S MADE: Step one: Gather all the usual components of meat – protein, fat, minerals, carbs and water – but from plants. Step two: Apply heat, cooling and pressure to the proteins. Step three: Bite into a better meal. Yeah, it’s really that simple.
STORAGE & PREP: Cook from thaw, use within 3 days of opening If purchased frozen, thaw in fridge, and use within 10 days.
TACOS, PASTA SAUCE & CHILI: Heat non-stick pan over medium-high heat, add Beyond Beef. Cook about 5-8 minutes, breaking up to desired crumble size and stirring frequently. If adding sauce, simmer for up to 30 minutes.
MEATBALLS: Mix dry and wet ingredients per your favorite recipe. Pan-sear then add to sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes, up to 2 hours. Cook time may vary depending on equipment, always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
BURGERS: Heat non-stick pan or grill to medium-high heat. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for a 4oz patty.
NOT RECOMMENDED: Microwaving, boiling or deep frying. Do not consume raw.
Ingredients: water, pea protein, canola oil, refined coconut oil, rice protein, flavour, cocoa butter, dried yeast, mung bean protein, methylcellulose, potato starch, sugars (apple extract, pomegranate extract), potassium chloride, yeast extract, beet juice extract (vegetable glycerin, water, maltodextrin, ascorbic acid), salt, sunflower lecithin, vinegar, concentrated lemon juice, carrot powder, vitamins and minerals (niacin [vitamin b3], pyridoxine hydrochloride [vitamin b6], thiamine hydrochloride [vitamin b1], riboflavin [vitamin b2], folic acid [vitamin b9], cyanocobalamin [vitamin b12], calcium pantothenate, biotin, zinc sulphate, ferric orthophosphate).
*Peas are legumes. People with severe allergies to legumes like peanuts should be cautious when introducing pea protein into their diet because of the possibility of a pea allergy. Contains no peanuts or tree nuts.
